Saint Aidan’s Choir & Consort
This parish choir defies expectations! Consisting of 16 members, several of whom hold degrees in music performance and music education, the choir assists in divine worship every Sunday from Labor Day to Trinity Sunday. Several members are excellent instrumentalists, and the choir can easily constitute a consort from itself, including violin, flute, piccolo, Irish flute, penny whistle, French horn, clarinet, and double bass. There is no separate handbell choir, so the members have also learned to manage bells and singing at the same time. Members range in age from 13 to 80+, and every single voice, new or experienced, is valued and necessary.
The group rehearses on Thursday evenings. Childcare can be provided as needed on Thursdays and Sundays. Please contact the Organist-Choirmaster if you would like to explore this extraordinary ensemble.
